Playing Old School RuneScape as a free-to-play player, it can be difficult to generate the much-needed gold to fund your gameplay. What is more is many of the guides on the internet have misleading information for free-to-play (F2P) players. Many guides assume rates using the pay-to-play meta, such as teleports and close banking locations, which are not actually accessible for F2P.

In this guide, we aim to offer you a comprehensive overview of the top 10 OSRS F2P money making methods. This will be based on a variety of factors (requirements, intensiveness, market demand etc), all of which will be assessed in each method.  This guide will be applicable whether it’s your main account or simply a moneymaking alternate account. Without further ado, let’s get right into the guide!

1. Mining Iron Ore

Iron Rock

Estimated profit: 150k gold per hour

The first OSRS F2P money making method we will be listing is the iconic method of mining iron ore. Mining iron ore is one of the best money-makers for a free-to-play player. Not only will you gain a vast amount of gold, but you will also gain around 20,000 experience in mining per hour.

To do this method, you will need a rune pickaxe for maximum efficiency, with at least level 40 mining. The best locations are Varrock East and Varrock West, however, this may be crowded with bots on many worlds (dependent on time of day). To combat this, you can visit the Al Kharid mine, despite the higher walking distance to the bank.

The more you do this method, the more you will make, as you will be better at mining (with higher levels). Switching to other ores are possible but can be troublesome due to banking locations. As you are walking with lots of weight, this is a considerable strain on your hour and reduces profitability. Runite Ore is far better but requires 85 mining – something most players do not have. The time investment to 85 mining far surpasses simply mining Iron Ore and getting your all wanted bond.

2. Telegrabbing Wines of Zamorak

Estimated profit: 150-250k gold per hour

By grabbing Wines of Zamorak, you can gain around 2,000 gold per each wine. You can accomplish this by using the ‘Telekinetic grab’ spell, which merely requires 33 magic. There are two locations you can do this money-maker at. At the Asgarnia Chaos Temple, north of Falador, you can telegrab wines on the upper floor without the monks getting aggressive. This, however, requires 500 Total Level, which may take a considerable time to reach, using purely free to play levelling methods. The base floor has wines but will always be aggressive against you, whether you physically grab or telekinetic grab. You must kill all monks to actually steal the wine. In addition, you may face issues against bots and others players competing against you, but this is way worse than it once was. The 500 total level requirement was added recently to circumvent that major issue.

Alternatively, you can telegrab the wines of Zamorak at the Wilderness Chaos Temple. This is not very competitive, but for a very good reason. The path is often blocked by player killers who will loot your inventory and law runes. This, however, eliminates the need for 500 total level. This is a perfect alternative if you are willing to take the risk. Overall. telegrabbing wines of Zamorak is one of the best F2P OSRS money making methods in the game right now!

3. Killing Ogress Shamans

Estimated profit: 50-100k gold per hour

Ogress Shamans are relatively new monsters in Old School RuneScape. They are relatively unknown as a money-maker in free-to-play. However, they have excellent drops, such as gems, Rune helms, Rune battle-axes, ranarr seeds, and runes.

The ogresses will only attack you with magic. As long as you are five squares away, their magic attacks will not reach you, so you can safe spot them. In addition, they have half the ranged defense compared to magic defense. Using range is recommended, and you will also level your range, and have fun actually being able to kill monsters which is more gratifying than mining rocks. The cost of arrows will limit your profitability, but you can expect to make at least 50k per hour and 100k if you receive good drops, all whilst levelling your range.

You must complete the quest The Corsair Curse to access the caves required.

4. Collecting anti-dragon shields

Estimated profit: 90k gold per hour

Buying anti-dragon shields from Oziach in Edgeville is a very simple and unique OSRS F2p money making method. He sells each shield for 30-35 GP each, and they sell for around 75 GP each (on the GE). Ensure that you walk back rather than run back to the bank, to conserve run energy, as you have a large weight burden on the bank route.  You can use energy potions if you want, but the added shields don’t outweigh the costs of the energy potions.

The downsides to this method is that you will not gain any skilling experience  and that you must complete Dragon Slayer. That means, essentially, you will need to complete all free-to-play quests. Perfectly acceptable and a great goal for a main account, but not so much for an alt. In addition, the demand for these shields can sometimes exceed the supply, so you may have to wait on the Grand Exchange to complete selling all your stock over a few hours.

5. Making anchovy pizzas

Estimated profit per hour: 130k-180k gold per hour

Making these pizzas are very simple. Use plain pizzas on cooked anchovies. You will require level 55 Cooking, this may sound high, but cooking is one of the easiest to level skills in the game. It is considerably faster than most skills. In addition, the market has a high demand for anchovy pizzas, because they are the highest healing food in free-to-play. Hence, they are used highly in Player Killing  and have a high market demand.

With that said, you may require 100,000 gold per hour to invest in supplies. In addition, the method may be saturated at the time you do it, due to how popular it is. On top of this, there may be imposed buy limits, which means you can only do this for a few hours before running out of supplies.

6. Other methods

Estimated profit per hour: none

This consists of alternative methods, such as PKing (player killing) and merchanting. Merchanting is buying items cheaply and selling them at their real value or even higher. This can work very well for cosmetic items. Player killing is going into the wilderness and killing players for their loot and gear.

However, while you can make millions per hour just from these methods, you can also end up losing money rather than making money. They do have a significant learning curve and risk. High-risk, high- reward.

7. Cutting yew logs

Estimated profit: 60k per hour

Yew Tree

Cutting yew logs is a very AFK activity, with low intensity. The best locations is Varrock Palace, and the Corsair Carve Resource Area (requires completion of Dragon Slayer).  You will need 60 woodcutting and a rune axe.

You will gain plenty of woodcutting experience, and it is very relaxing (non-intense) compared to other methods. The trade-off is gold per hour.

8. Crafting Gold Jewelry

Estimated profit: 100k per hour

Crafting as a skill can make you a handsome sum of money. A lot of the market rates are constantly changing, so ensure to do your research. Additionally, what you are crafting is entirely dependent on your level, and how much you care about profit versus experience. You will gain crafting experience regardless, so it is a great moneymaker that gains you levels as you work towards your bond.

The best location to craft gold jewellery at is at the Al Kharid furnace. Ensure you toggle your run energy when walking with the gold bars and gems, as that is when your character will be the heaviest.

9. Falador Shield Shop and other shops

Estimated profit: 80k per hour

Anti Dragon Shield

Cassie’s shield shop, on the upper floor, sells wooden shields from 20-22 coins. She stocks five shields. Hopping worlds is necessary. Each wooden shield can sell at 140 GP, or more commonly at 100 GP.

You can use this method to make a lot of money if not a lot of people are doing this method. If it is saturated, then you may have issues. However, you can experiment with various shops around the limited free-to-play map. You can often buy various items from various shops for cheap and sell it highly on the Grand Exchange, regardless of the exchange price.

10. Telegrabbing Nature Runes

Estimated profit: 300k per hour

For every two law runes you grab, you get seven nature runes. Hence, this is one of the highest profit moneymakers in OSRS for F2P players. However, this can only be done in level 40 wilderness, which is why this method isn’t commonly used. In addition, you will have to switch worlds frequently, which further increases your risk. The best way to do this method is to know how to escape from PKers efficiently or be prepared to fight. Alternatively, you could also build an account heavy on defense to tank and allow escapes at your own pace. Be careful of any pure accounts that come to attack you.

Splashing in Old School Runescape is the most afkable magic training method. Players like to use the splashing method so they can do other stuff while they’re still training their Magic with very low intensity. Even though splashing might not give a huge amount of Magic experience, you can easily watch a movie, workout, do your homework, or anything else while still getting an acceptable amount of Magic experience. The splashing method consists of using Magic to splash a low level target without doing any damage, hence the “splashing” term. In order to do no damage to your target, you need -65 Magic attack. You also want to make sure you’re splashing on a target that other players cannot interact with, so players can’t ruin your Magic training, but we’ll get into that later.

Armour setup

In order to splash targets without doing any damage, you’ll need -65 Magic attack. There are two ways to achieve getting -65 Magic attack. First of all, you want to get full plate armour, the plate armour could be anything, it doesn’t matter whether it’s bronze, rune, steel, etc. As soon as you have the plate armour, you can choose to wear d’hide vambraces which will get you to -65 Magic attack. You can also choose to use a cursed goblin staff, which will also get you to -65 Magic attack. When you have one of these two setups, you should have -65 Magic attack and shouldn’t be able to do any damage to targets with your Magic spells.

Locations and targets to splash

You can basically choose any location and target that you like, but there are some things that you should keep in mind. When choosing a target to splash on, make sure that other players cannot interact with the target, for example, when you’re splashing on a level 2 Man, other players will be able to pickpocket him and interfere with your splashing, that’s why you want to choose a target that cannot be pickpocketed. You also want to make sure that the target you’re splashing won’t do any (or minimum) damage on you, since this is an AFK method you rather don’t want to pay attention to your hitpoints so you can do other things on the side and don’t have to worry about dying.

When you’re a lower level, you can choose to splash on level 2 men or rats, preferably rats. It has his disadvantages though, because men can be pickpocketed by other players and rats can be killed by cats, although, it’s not very likely that one of these things will happen, and if it does happen it’s very easy to just find another rat or man. You can find these targets basically anywhere in the world of Old School Runescape. The most common place to splash would be at Lumbridge Castle, due to the high amount of rats.

You can splash on every target you can think of, just make sure that they won’t do any damage to you. Another good spot to splash for lower levels is at the chickens in Lumbridge, they’re very low level, do no damage if you have some armour and players cannot interfere with chickens. When you have better armour and a decent defence level, you can also choose to splash on higher level targets, since they also won’t do any damage to you with some proper gear and a decent defence level.

How to start splashing

It’s very easy to start splashing as soon as you’ve found a target. Make sure you wear a staff so you can use “Auto Retaliate”, this is what makes this method AFKable, because with Auto Retaliate on you don’t have to keep attacking the target but you’ll do it automatically. You also want to make sure that you bring sufficient runes for your desired spell (we’ll get into the best spells to use later on). When you have the runes and your staff on Auto Retaliate, simply start attacking your target and let the Magic experience flow in. Every couple of minutes you’ll have to show some kind of activity, like rotating your screen or clicking on the target again in order to prevent getting logged out of the game. Prior to a hidden update back in 2015, you could splash for 6 hours straight until you were forced to logout, making this method even more afkable. Unfortunately for splashers, they secretly updated the game and since then you have to show some kind of activity every few minutes.

What spells to use for splashing

You can use pretty much any spell that you like to start splashing and training your Magic. When you use higher level spells, it has its advantages and disadvantages. The higher level the spell is, the more experience you’ll get per splash, though higher level spells will also cost you a lot more GP, so you’ll have to see for yourself what spell you’d like to use depending on your Magic level and how much GP you’re willing to spend. Below I’ve made some calculations of how much experience you get per hour for different spells and how much GP this will cost you. These calculations have been made assuming you’re wearing an air staff.

Fire Strike

When you use Fire Strike, you’ll get approximately 13.9K XP per hour. Every splash will cost you 4 GP.

Fire Bolt

Splashing with Fire Bolt will get you approximately 27K XP per hour. Every splash will cost you 101 GP.

Fire Blast

Splashing with Fire Blast will get you approximately 41.3K XP per hour. Every splash will cost you 235 GP.

Fire Wave

Splashing with Fire Wave will get you approximately 50.7k XP per hour. Every splash will cost you 269 GP.

As you can see, when you’re using a higher level Magic spell you’ll get more experience, but the costs of the runes will be more as well. Therefore, it’s all personal preference and you can choose whatever you prefer if you have plenty of money and you’re willing to spend it on splashing then you can go for Fire Wave and get an experience rate of 50K for a very afkable method, which isn’t bad at all. When you have less money to spend or your Magic level is lower, you can go for Fire Strike or Fire Bolt. We hope you enjoyed our OSRS Splashing guide as much as we did making it. This is a guide about how to obtain Kudos on Oldschool Runescape the easiest and most efficient way possible. Kudos are rewarded for helping the staff inside of the Varrock Museum. To access Fossil Island you need to obtain 100 or more Kudos. This guide will tell you exactly how to get 225 Kudos as fast as possible. If you follow this guide step by step you will have the full amount of Kudos faster than you ever expected.

Guide

The first thing you want to do is walk straight into Varrock with your head held high. Go to the Varrock Museum on the bottom floor. It’s the first Kudos you will be earning and can be done at level three combat. Talk to Orlando Smith and walk down the stairs into each exhibit. Read the plaques and answer each plaques questions three times correctly. Once you have answered them all go back and spend with Orlando Smith located up the stairs. Congratulations, you have obtained 28 Kudos after correctly answering all exhibits.

The second thing you will be doing is cleaning finds. The requirement to start cleaning finds is the completion of a quest called “The Dig Site”. After you complete the quest you can find the cleaning area located on the ground floor of the Varrock Museum.  To starts cleaning, you must equip leather gloves and leather boots. Other items you will need is a specimen brush, trowel, and rock pick. You can find those located on the tool rack on the southern wall of the Varrock Museum.

When you have obtained all of the items above you will need to collect uncleaned finds located next to Sinco Doar. Use the uncleaned finds on the specimen tables to clean them. In total there are five artifacts that you can exchange for Kudos. To exchange the artifacts in for Kudos talk to one of the archaeologists. Once you have talked to one of them you must place the artifacts in the correct displays scattered around the museum. Congratulations! You have 78 Kudos now.

Questing will be the next step in your path. Go to the Varrock Palace library and find the book called “Dagon-Nai history and then read the book. After you have read the book you will need to complete a few quests. Here is the full list of quests you’ll want to do as soon as possible. Rune Mysteries, Demon Slayer, Shield of Arrav, Hazeel Cult, Making History, In Aid of the Myreque, A Tail of Two Cats, Merlins Crystal, Observatory Quest, What Lies Below, The Grand Tree & The Temple of Ikov and Desert Treasure. Congratulations you now have 143 Kudos total.

You now have access to the coveted Fossil Island. The next step is the completion of the quest called “Bone Voyage”. Once completing “Bone Voyage” you can find “unidentified fossils scattered around the Fossil Island. Once you have found the fossils you must then clean them so that they are able to be identified. You are also able to get five unidentified small fossils located in the Museum Camp after building the utilities. Once they have been built just talk to Peter.

The fossils that have been cleaned on the Fossil Island are added to the displays located on the Museum’s paleontology floor downstairs. Once you go downstairs you will see five large displays, five plant displays, twelve medium displays, and fourteen small displays.

Displays are complicated to a lot of people but are simple when breaking down the requirements for each display. To fill the assorted displays, you will need to obtain a spine, pelvis, limbs and a skull of the same size. Plant displays are even easier, to fill a display you will need a stump, branch, fossilized roots, a mushroom, and leaf. Once all of the cases have been filled it will turn into a very large display of a mighty Leviathan that can forever be admired.  Each display completed grants you two kudos each which adds up to be 215 Kudos total you have obtained thus far.

You have almost completed the journey! There is a mini-quest called the “Curse of the Empty Lord” and since you have done the quest list located above by following this guide you already have the requirements of ghostly robes. Finish that short quest and congratulations! You are ready to walk towards the horizon on a new found path of enlightenment because there are extra rewards you can get by obtaining kudos.

To receive the extra rewards from the Kudos that you have earned you will need to speak to the information clerk located on the first floor.  Below is a list of extra rewards worth collecting and writing down to get while on the journey to max Kudos.

Kudo Rewards

– At 51+ Kudos you are entitled to 1,000 Mining experience.

– At 101+ Kudos you are entitled to 2,500 Crafting and Mining experience.

– After completion of the “Curse of the Empty Lord” mini-quest, you will get 10,000 experience in any skill above 50. This is a top tier goal of obsidian maulers and level three combat skilling accounts.

– The ability to enchant a Ruby necklace into a Digsite pendant.

– After you complete each fossil display you will get an antique lamp based on the display completed. Small displays will give antique lamps that grant 2,000 experience in a skill higher than 20.  A medium display will give an antique lamp that grants 3,500 experience in a skill higher than 30. A large display will grant 5,000 experience in a skill higher than 35. Totaled together equaling  120,000 experience.

As many of you know, the activities of the buying/selling of (Old School) RuneScape gold is not exactly ordained by Jagex without the usage of bonds only. Buyers will only ever receive a temporary ban if that at the billions mark, the risk is on the sellers. However, when it comes to the selling and buying of accounts, Jagex does absolutely nothing – but this market is absolutely difficult to navigate without getting scammed in the long-run due to account recoveries. Training skills can also result in accounts being hijacked and valuables stolen or botted on.

This is why middlemen exist in the community and have an actual purpose rather than making you feel safe. They do all the checks required to ensure a deal goes as it should and if not, they are held responsible.

What do middlemen get out of this?

On underground (Old School) RuneScape black-market communities such as Sythe, you will often see middlemen advertising their services as “free”. These are people making money through tips, not actually through 100% generosity to the community. However, in some cases, these middlemen claim absolutely no responsibility/liability in case a deal goes sideways, so they may not even really cover you properly, if at all.

On such communities, there are typically middlemen who take a percentile fee and have ranks such as “OMM” – meaning official middleman. They have to be highly trusted in the community and vouched for to receive such a rank and generally they are the ones who can be trusted, just ensure to read their terms.

What do middlemen actually do?

When you’re dealing with RS middlemanning, they tend to conduct a lot of different checks on both parties, and may hold valuables. For example, holding gold whilst payment is sent to the seller – at which point the process is safe unless someone gets banned, if dealing with a safe payment method such as cryptocurrency. PayPal still has the ability to chargeback for any user. This includes background checks, has the account (on the underground community) been created a few days ago or a few years ago? An account created a few days ago is very high-risk. Are this person’s vouches real or potentially fake and set up with alt accounts?

If you want to buy and sell gold safely and secureley without the hassle of using a middleman, be sure to check our RSgoldFast.comthe cheapest osrs gold supplier!

There are also lots of impostors in the underground community. Some people refuse to deal with Discord due to it. You see, Discord has a premium program called “Discord Nitro”. It also allows invisible characters in someone’s username (with the use of foreign characters) and with Discord Nitro, you can customize the number in your name. Thus, you could be John#0001 and someone else can also be called John#0001. Cons like these aren’t possible with Skype and people do this via creating two Discord accounts (and servers) for the other party and middleman involved and con everyone by relaying messages, so even confirmation messages between real accounts on the forum communities seem genuine though they’ve both been talking to impostors. While any reputable community would make the middleman pay you back, likely even with ‘no liability’ clauses, as it was the middleman’s explicit fault, if this scam was done against you only with no middleman, then you have no chance of being refunded.

A seasoned (Old School) RuneScape middleman would prevent this by using Discord developer IDs (each user no matter what nickname has an unique id), or through interacting with official Discord servers for that user where they simply have to click onto your name to speak to you.

Are RuneScape account sales safe?

Unfortunately, the sales of (Old School) RuneScape accounts can never be 100% safe with random people on the internet. RS middlemanning can help to an extent with background checks.

Even with recovery tests, the original account owner has all information available to recover you at any times, and you don’t necessarily need all information to do a recovery, so some information may be withheld. And Jagex doesn’t care about newer information such as recent password changes, they care about the original account owner and they can claim their account has been hijacked from many years ago essentially.

Selling accounts is best done with large businesses who will stick around. These people create accounts to actually sell. They aren’t some random person who may feel like looting your account a few years down or want their account back after a few years as they regain interest in the game but don’t want to grind all over again.

These large businesses will tend to stick around for the duration of (Old School) RuneScape. Also, with extra (insurance) fees in place, whether a middleman or a business, as the 1 in 10 case where a recovery occurs the fees accumulate for a refund.

Another tactic a middleman or business may employ is to also collect the seller’s identification (and verify this is who they are paying to) and also may be able to escalate proof of an account sale to Jagex and get the account banned, further reducing incentive to recover. Using mules is also a semi-common practice, keeping wealth on completely unknown accounts in case your main gets compromised, not everything is gone. Odds are you aren’t going to go through 1 billion GP in a day and Jagex will not ban the mules if operated to distribute wealth rather than real-world trade it as a seller. Many streamers do this.

What should I look for in a middleman?

First of all, a middleman needs to be trusted, you need to look for this person’s vouches and how long they have been in the community, and their total traded amount. If they’ve traded $50,000 – there’s minimal chance they are going to scam you for $50 as they will profit more in the long-run, unless it’s an impostor or a liar. Ranks such as OMM on communities also mean they’re more trusted.

Most importantly, look at the middleman’s terms. If they hold no liability, that means they’re only conducting some checks and may proceed with risky trades in order to get a tip. If anything goes wrong, they will not be held responsible and will not refund you if they explicitly claim no liability. This is why fee traders can potentially be better than free-middlemen who may claim much less responsibility, though even fee-traders may not claim responsibility for factors beyond their control.

Old School Runescape Fletching Guide

Fletching is a relatively easy skill to train in Old School Runescape. The essence of the skill is as follows; players cut logs into either arrows/bolts or bows. The higher the players fletching level is, the better arrows/bolts and bows the player can make. There are many methods of fletching training, some costing a lot of money and some making the player a lot of Runescape gold. The player should also complete some quests at the beginning of their fletching training to gain fast free levels.

Level 1-25:

From level 1-25 you should create headless arrows. This method nets the player around 35k exp per hour and is a very fast fletching training method at the early levels. Creating headless arrows requires you to have arrow shafts and feathers in your inventory. Then all you need to do is click on the feathers repetitively until you run out of arrow shafts and feathers. This step should only take you around 15 minutes and should profit you a small amount.

Level 25-35:

From levels 25-35 you should string oak longbows. This method should give the players around 50k experience per hour and is a relatively fast method to train fletching at the earlier levels. Stringing oak longbows requires the player to have 14 bowstrings and 14 oak longbow (u) in their inventory. You must then click on one of the bow stings and on one of the unstrung longbows and fletch 14 full bows. Due to you still being a low fletching level it should only take you around 30-45 minutes to get 35 fletching.

Level 35-37:

From levels 35-37 you should string willow longbows. This method should give you about 65k experience per hour and is slightly faster than stringing oak longbows speeding up your training a bit. Stringing willow longbows requires the player to have 14 bowstrings and 14 willow longbow (u) in their inventory. You must then click on one of the bow stings and on one of the unstrung longbows and fletch 14 full bows. Due to you only needing to complete 2 levels while fletching this bow, it should only take you around 15-20 minutes to complete this stage.

Level 37-52:

Starting from level 37 you should start fletching steel darts. This method nets you over 700k exp per hour and is a fast method to train fletching. Fletching steel darts is a very expensive method of fletching training, but it pays off in the time you save. To craft steel darts you need to have feathers and steel dart tips in your inventory. After you have those all you need to do is spam click on the feathers and the dart tips and you will start creating steel darts at a fast pace. Please do note that it is nearly impossible to craft darts for more than an hour straight efficiently due to your hands getting fatigued after a certain time.

Level 52-67:

After reaching level 52 you should move onto mithril darts. This fletching training method should give you up to 1m exp per hour and is a really fast method of training fletching. Fletching mithril darts is a very expensive method of fletching training, but it pays off in the time you save. To craft mithril darts you need to have feathers and mithril dart tips in your inventory. After you have those all you need to do is spam click on the feathers and the dart tips and you will start creating mithril darts at a fast pace. Please do note that it is nearly impossible to craft darts for more than an hour straight efficiently due to your hands getting fatigued after a certain time.

Level 55-99:

After reaching level 52 you can also begin to fletch broad bolts. You can buy the ability to craft these bolts by spending 300 slayer points at a slayer master. This fletching method will net the player over 300k fletching exp per hour and is a relatively non-click intensive method. To create broad bolts all you need in your inventory are unfinished broad bolts and feathers. You can then spam click both these items to create broad bolts at a fast pace. You will either break even or make a slight profit while fletching these bolts.

Level 67-99:

After reaching level 67 you should move onto fletching adamant darts. This training method will give you well over 1m exp per hour and is one of the fastest methods of training fletching. Creating adamant darts is a very expensive method of fletching training, but it pays off in the time you save. To craft adamant darts, you need to have feathers and adamant dart tips in your inventory. After you have those all you need to do is spam click on the feathers and the dart tips and you will start creating adamant darts at a fast pace. Please do note that it is nearly impossible to craft darts for more than an hour straight efficiently due to your hands getting fatigued after a certain time.

Training fletching is a very expensive process. This skill will cost you well over 100 million Runescape gold to master. An easy way to get Runescape gp quickly and safely is to purchase it from one of our verified sellers on our website. This will help you get 99 fletching without having to grind hundreds of hours before even starting the skill farming gold.

#10. General Graador:

The boss that makes the least amount of money on this list is Bandos, or General Graador. This boss is in the God Wars Dungeon and can earn you up to 1 million Runescape gold per hour if soloed effectively. If you can’t solo him effectively you will need to bring a team, cutting down on your profits considerably. To solo Graador you will need relatively high stats, 90+ combat, and a good set of gear to match those combat skills. You should be picking up all the drops that are dropped by Graador to make the most money possible. If, however, you are very lucky you can profit up to 15-20 million gold per hour if you manage to get a Bandos Chestplate or Bandos Tassets drop. If you would like to view a in depth Bandos solo guide, look at the video linked below. It will walk you through your average kill and what gear and stats you must have.

#9. Venenatis

This boss also makes approximately one million gold per hour but is much easier to kill than General Graador. There are, however, some downsides to killing Venenatis. First off, she is located deep within the wilderness giving you the chance to be player killed easily. Although Venenatis is very consistent on her rsgp per hour, she doesn’t have any big drops to hope for. All the profit comes from her regular drops. This boss is great for lower level players. You don’t need very high stats to be able to solo her and you should be fine with a karil’s set as your designated armour. If you would like to view a in depth Venenatis guide, look at the video linked below. It will walk you through your average kill and what gear and stats you must have to effectively kill Venenatis.

#8. Giant Mole

The next boss we are going to be talking about is the Giant Mole. The Giant Mole also makes around 1 million Runescape gold per hour but is the easiest boss so far. As a lower level you can easily solo the mole with medium tier armour and weapon. As a high level, you can employ tactics such as Dharok bombing the giant mole to get incredibly fast kills. The Giant Mole’s drops are very consistent requiring no luck to make any money. The Giant Mole is located under the Falador garden and is easy to get to from the nearest bank. This helps you get the maximum trips per hour that you can giving you the most gp per hour as well. If you would like to view a in depth Giant Mole guide, take a look at the video linked below.

#7. Zilyana

The fourth boss we will be adding to our list is Commander Zilyana from the God Ward Dungeon. This boss will net you a pretty consistent 2-2.5 mill per hour. Commander Zilyana is a very hard boss that requires very high combat and gear to solo effectively. Another option that can be used is putting together a team of 2-3 people to speed up kills. This method wont net as much money but will make the fights a lot easier to complete. Zilyana’s rare drops are VERY valuable and can net you 10-40m per drop. If you would like to view a in depth Commander Zilyana guide, look at the video linked below. It will walk you through your average kill and what gear and stats you must have to effectively kill Zilyana.

#6. Cerberus

The fifth boss we will be looking at is the hellhound superboss Cerberus. This hound makes you from 2-3 million gold per hour. This is consistent money, so you can expect at least 2 million gp per hour at a minimum. The only downside with killing Cerberus is that you need high stats and great armour to be able to effectively kill him. You also need to have either a hellhound slayer task or a Cerberus boss task to even be able to kill this boss. If you would like to view a in depth Cerberus guide, look at the video linked below. It will walk you through your average kill and what gear and stats you must have to effectively kill Cerberus.

#5. Abyssal Sire

The next boss we will be talking about is the Abyssal Sire. The Sire nets you around 3 million gold per hour at a consistent rate. To kill this boss, you need 85 slayer and need to be on either an Abyssal Demons or Abyssal Sire boss task. If you do manage to get it on task and have the requirements you should defiantly kill this boss. The rare drops are with a lot at this moment and can net you a sweet profit. You will also need 90 plus stats to kill the Sire and I highly recement using potions to boost your combat stats to achieve faster kills. Look at the video below for a in depth up to date Abbysal Sire guide.

#4. Dagannoth Kings

Taking the sixth spot are the Dagannoth Kings. These bad boys can net you up to 3 million gold per hour and are relatively easy to slay. There are three kings, Dagannoth Rex, Dagannoth Supreme, and Dagannoth Prime. All the kings require different combat styles to kill so tri-bridding is the best way to slay them effectively. You also should solo these bosses to make the most money possible. 80+ combat stats should be enough to effectively solo these bosses. Before starting these bosses, you should look at this guide I found that explains the process of killing these kings very clearly.

#3. Zulrah

Coming in at the number three is the snake boss, Zulrah. Zulrah is one of the best-known money-making methods on Old School Runescape netting players up to 4 million gold per hour consistently. Zulra’s drops are responsible for the Toxic Blowpipe being entered the game as one of the best ranged weapons for consistent damage. To kill Zulrah you need to have started the Regicide quest and have high level range and magic stats. You can expect to net over 175k per kill while killing this snake overlord. To fully understand how to kill this boss I recommend looking at this Zulrah guide. It will help you get your gear setup and inventory sorted out.

#2. Vorkath

The second-best money-making method on this list is Vorkath. Vorkath is a dragon boss unlocked by the completion of the Dragon Slayer 2 quest. This boss drops a guaranteed 64k in drops every kill (from the dragon bones and dragonhides). He also frequently drops draconic visages making him one of the best money-making methods in old school Runescape. Vorkath nets the player up to 5 million rsgp per hour if killed effectively. Before attempting this boss, I highly recommend watching this guide I found that should help you through all Vorkath’s boss mechanics.

#1. Raids

The best pvm money making method in Old School Runescape is raids. This method makes the player 6-7 million gold per hour. This boss can either be killed solo or killed in a squad of 30 people. The money per hour doesn’t change. Most of the money is made in the big drops like the expensive Twisted Bow. You also make consistent money from all the normal drops like death runes. If you would like to view an in-depth raids guide, look at the video linked below. It will walk you through your average kill and what gear and stats you must have to effectively kill the raids bosses.

That wraps up our list of the top then PVM OSRS money making methods. We hope you enjoyed and learnt something new.

As the first Runescape double exp weekend of 2018 quickly approaches there are many things you must consider before the long-awaited weekend arrives. What will I train? How will I train it? Will I have enough GP to train those skills? How long can I play? These are all very important things to consider before the long-awaited weekend arrives.

What should I train?

The most efficient skills to train during double exp weekend are the buyable skills like Herblore, Prayer, Summoning, Fletching, Firemaking, and Cooking. These skills are good to train due to the upfront cost of the buyable items being cut in half because of the increased exp.

How will I train it?

While saving money while training on double exp weekend and training with the slower method may sound like a good idea, the amount of money you save is not worth the slower experience on double exp weekend. With the time you save you can make the money you used up faster then you would have saved money on the slower method.

Will I have enough GP to train those skills?

Although we all hope we have enough Runescape Gold to last us the weekend, most of us will run out sometime throughout the weekend. If this does happen you can find a safe and trusted gold seller on the RSGilded Gold Seller Directory to purchase your RSGP from. How long can I play?

How long can I play?

Ahh. Runescape! One of the best games online right now.? Right?? Well, the RSGilded team wishes you happy scaping and may you reach all your goals in a safe and efficient manner. Be sure to check out RuneScapeGoldMarkt.com for all your OSRS gold needs!

What is Runescape Botting?

Runescape botting is the act of using automated programs, macros, or systems to perform tasks in the game automatically. In the early days of Runescape classic, the Runescape bots that started to appear were very basic packet bots. These bots sent packets to Jagex’s servers emulating a Runescape game client. Soon after these bots were eradicated the next type of bot that appeared were color bots. These bots use the color of the in-game objects to detect and play the game. These bots were made ineffective in game when Jagex decided to randomly change the colors of in-game textures at different time intervals. The next type of bot to appear was injection bots. This is the era of botting where some of the major botting companies like RSBot and TriBot emerged. This type of botting used byte hacking techniques to get information about the game through the client source code and use it to interact with the game. The final and most recent type of botting that is apparent everywhere as of now is called reflection botting, where the game client is reflected into a Java virtual machine and is modified there to prevent Jagex from detecting the botting client.

Why do people bot?

There are two types of botters In Runescape today; there are casual and goldfarmers. Casual botters are botting to further their progress in their personal accounts. This may be backed by an inability to play the game regularly due to school or work or pure boredom. Goldfarmers on the other hand bot purely to make profit from the Runescape gold and accounts they create. When you see those 100 accounts with garbage names such as “dsjlfgkhgf24245” chopping oaks in Varrock you can be sure that they are not casual botters but goldfarmers. These goldfarmers use customised clients that are custom coded to automate the entire botting process. They create the accounts, train their stats, and collect gold all without any human input. Some of the more seasoned goldfarmers run over 200 accounts at a time generating over $100000 in revenue every year.

How can I bot?

As you are probably not going to shell out thousands of dollars to have a custom botting client created for you, you should probably use one of the popular botting clients that are available today. The botting platforms I personally recommend are RSBot and TriBot. These botting clients are both tried and trusted by the Runescape botting community and are 100% safe. Botting, however, is not 100% safe. It is quite unsafe. Botting on your main account nowadays pretty much guarantees a ban sooner or later. Therefore, it is recommended to bot on accounts that are replaceable and not too valuable.

How can I make money botting?

The best way to make money botting is to suicide bot replaceable accounts. Let’s say you created 10 accounts in OSRS, gave them a bond, and set up a wilderness looting script. These accounts will probably get banned within 24-48 hours of botting. If those accounts generate 200k per hour each account will generate an average of 7.2mill in its lifetime. With the price of a bond being around 2mill, that a 5.2mill profit per account. The profit over 10 accounts would be 52mill. You can then sell this 52mill to one of the trusted gold sellers listed in our directory to earn around $50 USD. That’s pretty good for one day of work!

If you are looking for an easy way to earn a lot of gold without putting in much work, then Runescape merchanting is perfect for you. The easiest type of merchanting that can be done daily is called flipping. Flipping in Runescape can be very difficult to learn how to do efficiently, but when mastered, it can make you unlimited amounts of gold.

How does flipping work?

The basis of flipping is simple to understand. To start off, go ahead and purchase commonly traded items such as dragon bones, sharks, magic logs and nature runes for a small percentage of the GE price. When purchasing, you should keep this price in your mind as it will be used in the future. Then sell that same item for a small percentage below the grand exchange price. Keep the selling price in mind as it will be used later as well. The price you instantly sold your item will be the price you will put the buy offer for that same item on the grand exchange, and the instant buy price will be your selling price.

The process that is mentioned above is called a price check. Although you may be losing some gold price checking, it is the only way you will be able to consistently find the profit margins of certain items on the grand exchange.

How to find profitable flipping items?

The first step of Runescape merchanting is finding profitable items that will be worth your time flipping. If you are having a rough time trying to think of profitable items to flip you can easily get inspiration for flipping through the skills tab. You can choose a random skill you want to flip for, and just price check random items that are on the list to find the margins. Once you find an item with considerable margins, just keep flipping it until those margins close.

You can even find items for Runescape flipping by looking at the monthly game updates. This will give you a better understanding of what items will be updated, and how their price will be affected. The items that are included in the monthly game updates are associated with a higher risk factor, there is a higher chance for a large profit but also a large chance for a loss.

As soon as you start flipping in Runescape, you will need to build a list of items that have worked well for you in the past. This list will evolve along with time giving you an excellent baseline for items that you can flip in the long run.

All you need to do is to repeat these steps repeatedly. If you do it correctly, you will make a decent amount of money in the long run. The longer you flip in Runescape, the more experience and confidence you build up giving you a better understanding of how different items behave. With that in mind, you can improve the profits you receive.

If you would like a more in depth guide on Runescape flipping or merchanting, be sure to take at the video posted below from Merchz.
